Gallery of Paintings
Back in high school I became fascinated with Bob Ross and "The Joy of Painting" shows on PBS. I was inspired by his quick style and the way he painted his "happy little trees". Many of my paintings below were done in high school and bear his influence in a big way. A couple of years ago I decided to forgo the late Bob Ross style and painted a very detailed rendering of one of my favorite photographs -
a
butterfly. It took me over a week to finish it... Maybe there's something to be said for the loose and quick Bob Ross style.
